Applying brain science to your marketing enables your brand to attract more attention, drive more website traffic and increase conversions. Understanding the human brain and human behavior empowers your marketing team to engage more deeply with your prospective customers, guide them to action, and develop more valued relationships over time. This is the power of neuromarketing.
It’s with this understanding that Stratabeat is excited to announce our next Neuromarketing-palooza event at 6:30pm on June 20th, 2017 in Boston’s innovative Fort Point district. We’re excited for another fun and educational evening, as part of our series of neuromarketing events.
Neuromarketing-palooza’s June 20th line-up:
How Emotions Are Made: The Secret Life of the Brain
Lisa Feldman Barrett, PhD
Distinguished Professor of Psychology at Northeastern University and author of the book How Emotions Are Made: The Secret Life of the Brain
Lisa will present four myths about emotion to set the stage for understanding how emotions are made. Each myth about emotion will help illustrate one central lesson in her new book, How Emotions Are Made: The Secret Life of the Brain.
Lisa’s research focuses on the nature of emotion from the perspectives of both psychology and neuroscience, and takes inspiration from anthropology, philosophy, and linguistics. She’s a Distinguished Professor of Psychology at Northeastern University and has appointments at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital in Psychiatry and Radiology. She received a National Institutes of Health Director’s Pioneer Award for her groundbreaking research on emotion in the brain. Her book has been covered in The New Yorker, NPR, Wired, The Guardian, NBC News, and The Today Show.
Boston Neuromarketing Meetup Group
The Neuromarketing-palooza event series is hosted by the Boston Neuromarketing Meetup Group. Stratabeat created the group so that marketers and designers can discuss methods for applying brain science for more effective attraction, lead generation, conversion optimization, customer acquisition, and loyalty-building. Our group now totals close to 350 members.
Some of the topics that the group covers include neuroscience, cognitive psychology, neuroaesthetics, human behavior, persuasion, user experience, memory, and conversion optimization.
Come join us for a fun and educational evening on June 20th. The event is free, although pre-registration is required.
