The Job

We are looking for a smart and inquisitive SEO Analyst to help us better serve our B2B clients in Software/SaaS, MedTech, FinTech, Green Tech, and Venture Capital Portfolios. This is a remote position; the ideal candidate will be located in the U.S. or Canada.

The SEO Analyst should LOVE working in spreadsheets. We’re looking for someone who is obsessed with SEO. You’ll be exploring opportunities for our clients to improve their visibility in Google and their organic traffic. Some of these analyses may focus on technical SEO while others may focus on keywords, internal linking, or content.

Requirements + Responsibilities

  • 3+ years professional experience in SEO
  • Work with our SEO & Content Strategists to identify meaningful analyses to conduct for various client accounts
  • Conduct various types of SEO data analysis, including a technical site analysis, competitor analysis, ranking/keyword/topic/question research, on-page SEO analysis, content cannibalization analysis, internal linking analysis, backlink analysis, etc.
  • Ability to perform SEO data analysis using Google Sheets (comfortable with vlookup, query, if-else, and regex formulas) and proficient in creating pivot tables and charts
  • Ability to extract and articulate insights from multiple data sources and create clear and understandable reports and visualizations
  • Effectively communicate the narrative within the data, build reports, and deliver insight beyond standard online reporting
  • Ability to set up and manage GA4
  • Ability to build online dashboards in Looker Studio
  • Manage multiple projects at the same time and meet established deadlines
  • Ability to work autonomously, research issues, and formulate solutions
  • Possess high standards and always deliver high-quality work
  • A desire to solve tough SEO and content problems, drive success for clients, and work in a fun, creative environment
  • A highly collaborative, team player
  • Eagerness for continual learning
  • Good, positive, driven, self-starting, initiative-seizing attitude
  • Keen attention to detail and strong written communication skills
  • Willingness to present findings to groups of people, including clients
  • Experience using tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush, GA4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, Clearscope, or similar types of tools

Preferred Skills & Competencies

  • Prior agency experience
  • CRO experience a plus
  • Background working with Software/SaaS, MedTech, FinTech and/or Green Tech a plus
